When we were on vacation in Seoul, a kind friend offered to take us to a mystery vintage fabric shop tucked away in a basement with a storekeeper that spoke zero English. This is part of our bounty! This dry, open-weave fabric has a birdseye weave with a blend of tan, brown and pale blue yarns, and we have chosen to make this as a lightly lined, self-tie bow tie. The finished tie feels lively and drapey, and works perfect for warmer climates.

* As the fabric is textured, which makes the tying process challenging, this calls for an experienced bow tie wearer.
