Unlike most seersucker fabrics that are woven with cotton or polyester yarns, this Italian-made fabric uses pure wool for a rather unique take on seersucker. The raised ribs add a distinct character to this very textured fabric. As a plain coloured necktie with rather heavy texture, we think this leans slightly casual, but remains quite versatile. Given the dry, crisp wool yarns used, we suggest this as spring/summer/fall appropriate - great for most coats except the fuzziest wool and cashmere ones.
