Our ancient madder fabrics are printed the traditional way by Robert Keyte Silks in England, and then handmade in Singapore in our lightly lined self-tie bow tie construction. They are discharge screen printed by hand on white silk twill and dipped into indigo dye vats, giving them a characteristic blue tone and a dusty, soft 'madder look' that menswear aficionados know and love. These large motif designs are far from subtle, but worn with a simple tweed or flannel jacket, they are the epitome of elegance.
